New Lego Set Ruined By A Massive Poop In The Toilet

Lego fans are shocked by a massive poop that is front and centre of a new set, and won't stop distracting fans. However, this isn't the first time it's appeared.

Well, that's a bit sh*t, isn't it? Were you today's year old when you learned Lego poop exists?  Lego has always been a family-friendly pastime, and after you're done building Wembley Stadium or the Eiffel Tower, one of the company's biggest wins has been its many crossovers with pop culture.

From the Death Star from Star Wars to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, we'll spend hundreds on those building blocks. We've also seen it spin out into the many Lego video games covering everyone from Indiana Jones to Jurassic Park. Still, we bet you never thought you'd find a big Lego poop. You read that right.

Why Is Lego Poop A Thing?

Lego Poop Set

The Lego set 60335 is currently on sale, and adds a "Train Station" to the Lego City line. It's a pretty standard set, complete with commuters, a train platform, and a shuttle bus. There's also a jolly-looking worker, who seems to have left us a *present* in the portaloo.

We're not quite sure why Lego needed to remind us that everyone poops - or reveal that those plastic people drop plastic deposits - but welcome to 2022. The 60335 set has led to an odd debate online, where fans are both shocked and intrigued in equal measure. When someone shared the instructions for the set, they were horrified that a singular poop block is also included.

From the size of the poop to its shape, most were left scratching their head at why a human sh*t needed to be included in a Lego set. Someone joked, "This fella sure looks pleased with himself.. Just unloads a steamer and leaves it there for the next guy. Nice. 'Everything is awesome...'" Someone else confirmed The Office set has a poop under Michael Scott's desk.

Do Other Sets Have Lego Poop?

It's true, as much as the 60335 set would presumably like the honour of being the first "poop set," there are others that have featured faecal matter in the past. As an aside, the Vintage Taxi 40532 set from 2022 has a hidden poop in a bin. Others shared their weird and wonderful stories about hidden airplane poop, and how this brick is actually categorised under food and drink. That's right, your modern poop once started out as a chocolate ice cream before being used for more unsanitary builds.

Apparently, its first use as "poop" was in a 2019 "Dog Sitter" minifig, and it's technically called "Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Horizontal Swirl / Twist." According to BrickLink, it appears in 59 sets ranging from Belle and Beast's Castle to the (aptly named) Winnie the Pooh set. We imagine not all of them are as used as poop, but still, it's a fascinating bit of information we never knew we needed. Just make sure you flush when you're done.
