New 'Shadow' Warzone Glitch Makes Players Invisible

When there's no spooky season this year, glitches and bugs have made their own eerie presence known in Warzone with another invisible glitch.

When there's no spooky season in Call of Duty this year, the glitches and bugs have taken it upon themselves to make their own eerie presence known in Warzone.

There's not going to be a Warzone Halloween season in 2022 because the battle royale title is being put to sleep in November.

But amid some October rest, players are instead whipping out some sort of invisibility cloak straight from Harry Potter's closet and are whizzing around Caldera leaving nothing but a shadow to be seen.

Warzone Invisibility Glitch Returns Again

Covered in an opaque cloak, the latest Warzone glitch (or hack, who knows?) has harnessed the power of invisibility, somewhat.

A viral Reddit thread has now surfaced, where one player appears to be completely invisible to the naked eye - although the sunlight confirmed their whereabouts by revealing a shadow.

The player, evidently bemused by the walking shadow, began opening fire but was quickly sent packing to the gulag, unsure as to whether the shadow, or invisible shadow caster, could be wounded.

Warzone Invisibility Glitch Is Apparently Here To Stay

According to many of the Redditors, this glitch isn't new and has been running riot on Caldera for quite a while.

"[This has] been happening for months now... nobody believed me when I said it because I don't record my play and people assumed I was making up excuses," said one player. Others joked that the user had been "shadow-banned" - more like shadow-banged.

It's unlikely that Raven Software will be paying much attention to the Warzone bugs, especially considering there's only one month left before Warzone 2 is rolled out.

Instead, maybe they're working on preventing this from happening in the sequel. Still, we wouldn't hold our breath on that one.
