Warzone 2 Season 4 introduced a huge amount of exciting content, including the ISO 45 SMG and the Tempus Razorback AR.

Despite this, it's the new Vondel map that's been praised the most by the community and led to players queueing into Resurgence non-stop.

While Vondel is smaller than Al Mazrah, it's expected to be added to the normal battle royale playlist in the future, which means it needs its own Gulag.

Now, a leak has given us our first look at the Vondel Gulag arena, and it's safe to say, it's a throwback to Verdansk from the original Warzone.

A leaked clip of the unreleased Vondel Gulag has surfaced on the CODWarzone subreddit, which has potentially revealed exactly what the arena is going to look like.

In what looks to be a cellar, the Vondel Gulag has a lot of similarities to the Verdansk showers, with the middle section where the flag is located being an almost exact copy.

With barrels piled on top of each other and dimly lit lighting, the leaked Warzone 2 Gulag certainly looks incredible. Not only that, its 'basic layout' is appreciated by players as it's "well balanced and symmetrical."

Although some users are slightly disappointed it's a 'reskin' of the Verdansk Gulag, the majority of gamers are happy as there are "no fancy gimmicks, just doors and corners to watch."

When will Vondel Gulag be released in Warzone 2?

The Vondel Gulag is expected to arrive in July with Season 4 Reloaded, so there isn't too long for the community to wait before they can jump into the new arena.

It's clear there's a lot of excitement around this addition, while players are glad the Gulag is revisiting its roots with a significantly more simple layout. It remains to be seen how well it will go down, but to be honest, we're not sure anything can beat the memories of the Verdansk Gulag.
