Weirdly, musicians and athletes have a funny way of leaking Call of Duty content, and it seems that the famous icons are up to their usual tricks.

Previously we've seen Cardi B leak Modern Warfare 2 content through a diamond Ghost necklace, Eminem leak Modern Warfare 3 in a music video, and NFL players reveal early images of DMZ mode.

Now though - ahead of Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 - Spinnin' Records and Oliver Heldens have let slip the new Warzone 2 Resurgence map by airing images of their "Sounds of Vondel" album.

Vondel Warzone 2 map leaked through new Oliver Heldens album

Vondel has long been rumoured to be coming to Warzone 2 as the second Resurgence map, which is set to be hosted in Amsterdam and feature the multiplayer map Breenbergh Hotel.

But after getting the Vondel release date earmarked as sooner rather than later, images have now surfaced of the entire map. Spinnin' Record has featured it in the background of their new Oliver Heldens album.

The album, Sounds of Vondel, appears to be a Call of Duty collaboration with Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens, which will get the blood pumping for Warzone players before the map releases. Interestingly, the busy and building-heavy overlook of Vondel on the cover looks to be quite an entertaining prospect.

Vondel POIs leaked for Warzone 2 Resurgence

With the full map now leaked, dataminers have also found a list of POIs for Vondel, which marries with the leaked map that shows a section of Amsterdam.

The leaked Vondel POIs for Warzone and DMZ are as follows:

  • Aquarium
  • City Hall
  • Fire Station
  • Nieuwe Stadspoort
  • Old Museum
  • Floating House
  • University
  • New Museum
  • Police Station
  • Stadium
  • Cruise Terminal
  • Train Station

POIs such as Nieuwe Stadspoort point to physical places in Amsterdam, as it translates to New City Gates, which is a location in the city with a small castle-like structure overlooking the river (yes, more water combat..). Elsewhere, University could be a recreation of the Amsterdam campus in the city centre.

Interestingly, the Breenbergh Hotel multiplayer map was previously hit with Copyright issues given that its a remodel of the real-life Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, which could indicate that this Warzone 2 and DMZ map could be quite an impressive recreation of the streets of the Dutch city, akin to that seen in the MW2 campaign.
