Just when you think Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff is out of the woods and can go back to being a streaming sensation, he's keen to stir the pot again and prove why it's sometimes best to quit while you're ahead.
The former Call of Duty pro has dipped from the shooter series and is now found raining bullets in Apex Legends, but as most will know, he didn't part ways with the CoDverse on good terms. Instead of buddying up with his fellow Apex players, he's making an enemy out of Nelson "Xeratricky" Medina.
NICKMERCS comes for Xeratricky
While watching the Apex Global Series, NICKMERCS didn't mince his words when it came to Xeratricky, saying. "I don't give a f*ck about this idiot tricky." Calling out his performance, Kolcheff added, "It's the only thing he's good at, and he can't even do that." NICKMERCS briefly paused before unleashing another tirade.
"If he spent half as much time playing the game as he does f*****g typing on Twitter, maybe a different outcome." When pressed on his beef, Kolcheff explained, "Back when the whole thing was popping off bro, he was like 20 tweets deep on my d*ck" - referencing NICKMERCS' anti-LGBTQ+ drama.
"All I ever did for the guy was give him opportunity," continued Kolcheff. "I invited him to a couple of different gauntlets, I let him play in some tournaments of mine for big f*****g prize pools to grow his stream and his brand and his audience, that's all I did for him."
NICKMERCS concluded, "And then I say something like, 'Leave kids alone,' and this dude has a breakdown. All it is, is f*****g jealousy...the whole thing stems from just being a jealous f**k, no tunes into your sh*t, nobody watches your sh*t, so you're just f*****g angry at me."
NICKMERCS is more popular than ever
In the end, Kolcheff signed off saying, "Bro, I'm a petty motherf****r, I keep score." It's unclear whether Xeratricky is aware of NICKMERCS trashing him online, but this could be an epic feud for the ages. Despite Kolcheff saying he isn't friends with everyone, he has a loyal legion of other players and fans by his side.
Since losing his Call of Duty bundle and being ditched from co-streaming the CDL, NICKMERCS has earned new-found fame. In the aftermath, SocialBlade confirms he had a massive spike of new followers, while others have vowed to boycott Call of Duty in solidarity.
Among NICKMERCS' supporters were Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar, who asked for his bundle to be removed from MW2. As pointed out by ComicBook.com, searches for him went up by 100 times. The man himself claims those trying to cancel him "shot and missed," and no matter what your views of him, we have to agree.
