The old guard of Fortnite's content creators and popular streamers are well and truly gone, as Chapter 5 Season 4 embarks on a truly indifferent path than ever before.

Those that millions of players grew up idolizing have all moved on. Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish is currently celebrating a second-place finish in the VALORANT world championships (VCT Champions), and Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, well, he's currently having a bit of an epiphany.

Having once been the biggest name in gaming, through Fortnite's boom, Ninja has finally tethered his ties to Fortnite, quitting the "ass" game in favour of Call of Duty.

Ninja loses it with Fortnite, pledges to Call of Duty

In a compilation of clips circulated on TikTok and Twitter (X), Ninja slams the new Fortnite season (C5S4) as "ass", losing his cool at multiple deaths.

"I'll say it because nobody else is saying it, this season is f**king dog s**t," he said in one clip.

In another, he complained, "He hit me for 90hp flying around, bro. I can't get f**king shields," before he yelled, "This game ass! How the hell do I not have shields?"

All of this tippled over to him "quitting" the game permanently, as one player appeared to shoot him through the wall.

"I don't want to play this game anymore, get me off this s**t. I'm going to CoD," he added.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 could be Call of Duty's blessing

The current Season has not gone down well in the wider Fortnite community, with a diversion away from the standard battle royale experience back towards a bigger quest-heavy experience.

The timing might not have come any better though, with Black Ops 6 coming as early as this weekend with the Beta, leaving Fortnite in the blues.

Like many others, Ninja has previously dabbled in Warzone, taking his battle royale expertise from H1Z1 and Fortnite and rolling it out into CoD's shooter.

Maybe the new omnimovement features might be exactly what Warzone needs in order to attract players from Fortnite and other corners of the FPS world, given the title needs something to reignite it.
