There's no doubt that Diablo 4 can be a total b**ch The franchise has always offered a difficulty level that absolutely spanks players, and even though Diablo 4 has its World Tier 1 that goes easier on players, World Tier 4 is a brutal testament to the vicious design of enemies across Sanctuary.
Of course, bosses play pretty heavily into this. Diablo 4 has a full spectrum of meanies that can leave you in a bloody heap on the floor, but there's one boss that's clearly dishing out more punishment than the rest.
Diablo 4 boss is claiming 2% of all kills
If you're getting sick of being merked by the Butcher, then don't worry. It looks like everyone else is losing out to the horned horror as well. Blizzard has revealed some stats a week after the game's official launch on Twitter, and blimey, they're hefty.
The most notable statistic here is that 5,792,063 players have been killed by the brutal Butcher, a boss who appears in dungeons and scales to the player's level, always proving a problem. Even though his kills pale compared to the total sum of players who have perished (which currently comes to 316,991,632), the Butcher's bludgeoning actually makes for 1.8%.
Almost 1 in every 50 kills is at the hands of that nasty b*stard known as the Butcher. We knew he was a toughie, but this is a particularly brutal stat. It's clear that he's causing trouble all across Sanctuary.
Diablo IV players have killed almost 3 billion monsters
In total, 2.73 billion monsters have been slain across Sanctuary, which makes for a pretty good K/D ratio for players. Impressively, There are only 163 Level 100 Hardcore players, while the number of players who have just crossed Level 100 has soared to 6,263.
Plus, it looks like fans are particularly attached to the Sorcerer, as he has become the most popular class in the game. It's clear that players are getting lost in Sanctuary to have killed so many baddies - and to be killed so many times themselves. Remember kid's, it's tough out there.
