Dubbed as the Pope of Call of Duty following his famous hooded walkout at the birthing of the CDL, Indervir "iLLeY" Dhaliwal is amongst a range of talents that had to bide their time to take to the competitive scene, due to age restrictions.

Despite now being an established superstar in the league, being the shot-caller for the most prestigious organisation in Call of Duty history in OpTic Texas, iLLeY's professional career was forced to be halted before it even began, as the rising prospect had to wait until his 18th birthday to sign with a pro team.

However, this didn't stop him grinding through unofficial tournaments, and he's now revealed that he won a ton of money during his underage career.

iLLey Reveals Six-Figure Winnings From Amateur Cod Career

The Canadian and his OpTic Texas teammates recently won the CDL 2022 Major 1 on home turf, splitting a $200,000 prize between the squad; the second of iLLeY's major winnings with his most luxurious of prizes coming in the form of the 2020 World Championships.

However, iLLeY has now revealed that he was raking in the cash before the inaugural CDL season, competing in Search and Destroy tournaments and streaming on Twitch.

Speaking in a podcast hosted by Minnesota ROKKR's Dillon "Attach" Price, Stay Attached, iLLeY opened up on his pre-CDL earnings.

"I made quite a bit. Going off just when I was underage, I don't know how much I made from just SnD, but when I was underage and started competing and streaming, I made over $100k."

He did admit that the actual amount eluded him, alongside his first-ever salary as eUnited Cadets, but the Search and Destroy demon had racked in a seriously impressive six-figure sum from grinding through small tournaments.

Its also not the first competitive career that iLLeY did make money in too, having played chess for a solid time throughout his school education.

Now, iLLeY sits as the 17th-highest ranked Call of Duty player, in terms of earnings, although if you lumped on his pre-CDL winnings, the $100K boost would catapult him to 13th, just behind the two-time World Champion Jordan "JKap" Kaplan.
