Pay money to have Conker's Bad Fur Day poo statue ruin your home

Rare's bizarre Conker's Bad Fur Day is being honoured in a gross way, with a giant statue of The Great Mighty Poo available to buy for some serious money.

Will anything ever compare to peak '90s gaming, blowing on a cartridge (even though you weren't supposed to), and firing up the Nintendo 64? Back then, there was seemingly no stopping Rare. Delivering titles like GoldenEye 007, Banjo-Kazooie, and Diddy Kong Racing, it was the king of the castle.

Rare was a force to be reckoned with in the '90s, and while it's still working today with Sea of Thieves, its pioneering work on the N64 has placed it forever in the history books. Still, there's one out-there game that doesn't get anywhere near the respect it deserves...Conker's Bad Fur Day

If you don't remember, Conker was the adorable squirrel introduced in Diddy Kong Racing. To separate his standalone adventure from being just another platformer, Conker 64 was revamped to make him a foul-mouthed alcoholic who was constantly horny or shooting up the place. It was renamed Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Conker's Bad Fur Day rightly earned its M rating and definitely wasn't for kids, forcing a bee to bang a sexy flower or dismemberings homaging Saving Private Ryan. Then again, nothing compared to the Great Mighty Poo - a musical number featuring a massive blob of faeces. The Great Mighty Poo even had corn for teeth.

Some 22 years after Conker's Bad Fur Day shocked and appalled, The Great Mighty Poo is back and bigger than ever. First 4 Figures is currently taking preorders on its The Great Mighty Poo statue, and while there isn't a price yet, we expect it to be pretty hefty.

Yes, you can have The Great Mighty Poo in your living room

In the years since Conker's Bad Fur Day, the game has developed a cult following. When First 4 Figures announced The Great Mighty Poo statue, the Twitterverse soon exploded with gross love for it. One cheered, "Looks like shit, great job," while another added, "I can smell this image."

First 4 Figures is known for its Banjo-Kazooie figures, with a Jumbo Mumbo Jumbo statue setting you back $636. There's also a gruesome line of Conker's statues - like the Definitive Edition Soldier Conker costing a whopping $924.

Sadly, collecting statues might be the closest we get to seeing Conker again. The remastered Conker: Live & Reloaded was released on the Xbox in 2005, while those behind Banjo-Kazooie have recently said they don't think there's an appetite for more games in this world. Hype surrounding The Great Mighty Poo would suggest otherwise.
