Pedro Pascal is all over our screens right now, and we truly couldn't be happier about it.
The charming Grogu-wrangler has been dominating March so far, with his tenure as Joel in The Last of Us reaching its season one closure (though we have a bad feeling about the second series. Don't ask us why), and his third season being the man behind the helmet in The Mandalorian just beginning. Being the face of two gigantic nerdy properties is a lot of work, but he makes it look easy.
And it looks like his goofy excitement carries to even the most brutal of places, as he has revealed that being mutilated was actually a walk in the park.
Pedro Pascal talks about being stabbed in the eye
Our dreams came true over the last couple of days, as Pedro Pascal finally made his debut on the First We Feast YouTube series Hot Ones, tackling the gauntlet of the spiciest wings in Hollywood.
As a part of the searing interview, he talked his character's demise back when he was a part of Game of Thrones, and he's revealed that being murdered was actually pretty nice.
"I got my head crushed in. It was the best part of the day," he says. "It was so hot when we were shooting that scene, you know, he's over me and he puts his thumbs into my eyes and they've got tubing through his body into his forearms to his thumbs just like pumping this cool blood. And [he was] so gentle. The gentelest guy ever. I felt no pressure at all, and he was so hyper-aware of it. I couldn't even feel his weight on me as he basically straddled me."
Pedro Pascal had a nap on camera
Pascal adds that the experience of being murdered was so relaxing, that he had a pretty magnificent sleep.
"I went into the deepest sleep I've been in," he continues. "I realize now that because I'm not a very good sleeper I need to be laid out with pieces of flesh, gelatinous cool-to-the-touch face meat and pooling blood and maybe I'll finally get a good f***ing night's sleep."
It's nice to know that despite how busy he is, Pedro still has the time to rest up. We hope golf clubs have the same effect as being stabbed through the face because his time as Joel must be pretty stressful.
