Warzone 2's July 24 patch truly shook up the meta with nerfs to the OP X13 Auto and Basilisk secondaries, which were completely dominating the meta.
These changes, as well as those to M4, TAQ-56, and Lachmann 556, have made way for new weapons to gain a foothold in the rankings.
One of those is an old-school AR that's known for its raw firepower and deadly TTK, which has finally climbed back into the top-tier category.
Well, Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has shown off a lethal loadout for this OG AR, and it's capable of decimating foes on both Vondel and Al Mazrah.

According to Metaphor, the Kastov 762 "has risen back up to the top," with the OG AR taking the place of the nerfed weapons in the July 24 patch.
The gun sports a deadly TTK and can easily eliminate enemies at long range, but Metaphor chooses to run a more mid-range focused build.
Equipped with plenty of firepower, the Kastov 762 has a reputation for being a heavy-hitting AR that requires some practice to learn its recoil pattern.
However, those that master the gun are rewarded with a weapon that can easily decimate foes in an instant, allowing you to solo-carry victories and rack up countless kills.
How popular is the Kastov 762 in Warzone 2?
Since the July 24 patch in Warzone 2, the Kastov 762 has experienced a resurgence in popularity, with the gun reaching an impressive 6.4% pick rate. That's according to WZRanked.
This makes it the second most used AR in the game, just behind the M13B. Based on the Kastov's trajectory, it could take the number one spot.
