Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 may have made an impact on the meta with its balance changes, but the same SMGs are still dominating when it comes to pick rates.
Both the Vaznev-9k and the Fennec 45 stand well above the rest in terms of popularity, with the majority of players gravitating towards them as their default options.
Despite this, the community has been sleeping on a close-range weapon that isn't even in the SMG category. It's actually an AR.
