Having recently been ridiculed by fans and players, Raven Software has double-backed on its stance on loadout drops and buy stations and has rolled out a major update to how Warzone 2 will function.

The mid-season update to Warzone 2 has really rattled the player base, with Buy Stations being stripped back. Players claimed this is damaging games by not allowing people to buy teammates back or achieve loadouts.

Following that uproar from players and highly notable community figures, Raven has now reversed their update in favour of something more in-tune with the community.

Raven Software Double Buy Stations Frequency And Change Loadout Drop Time

In a separate change to Season 1 reloaded, Raven Software has now doubled the number of Buy Stations within Al Mazrah, debunking previous criticisms.

The Warzone 2 developers have now also made it easier for players to get their loadout too, by bringing the public loadout drops into the game five minutes earlier, during the second circle, rather than the third.

These changes will allow many more players to get their weapon loadouts, armour plates, perks, and killstreaks, rather than being stuck to the ground loot.

Loadout Updates Are Being Labelled As A Money Driven Change

Despite the reaction being generally positive, some fans have now labelled these changes as a way for Activision to make its sales quota. Previously, players struggled to obtain their own guns and weapons in Warzone 2, making blueprints redundant and therefore driving down bundle sales.

However, these changes look to be inspired by new bundles, and some fans are savvy about it. "It's pretty obvious that even though you increased the number of Strongholds with S1R casuals are simply not getting their loadouts and with that blueprint sales won't be as high as Activision wants them to be. A data and money-driven change," claimed popular leaker "TheGhostOfHope".

Whether this is a cash grab or not though, more chances to get your weapons can only be good for all players. After all, nobody wants to be stuck to the vanilla ground loot, both for aesthetic and gameplay value.
