As Worlds comes beckoning and Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok finally steps onto the biggest stage in the world on home turf (missing qualification on the last two times Worlds was held in South Korea), T1 looks to cement itself as the best team on the globe in front of its own fans.

But regardless of the outcome, 2023 will not end with T1 resting on its laurels, as the Red Bull League of its Own has come calling, and the world-famous organisation has chomped at the bit to take on Europe's most elite teams.

Red Bull League of its Own is back for 2023, and with a primarily LEC-based lineup, T1 and Faker have been pitted against G2 Esports, as they are announced as the final team in the tournament, topping off the year with a festive skirmish.

G2 announced as the final team for Red Bull League of its Own

The Red Bull League of its Own is a post-season showmatch reel, where T1 will fly out to the home city of the LEC to take on Europe's finest talent after Worlds - having already been pitted against the likes of Karmine Corp and Team Heretics.

But the final test in this exhibition slalom will be G2 Esports, another Worlds contender team that will pose a threat in both South Korea and Berlin in the respective events.

G2 Esports and T1 are two of the most established League of Legends organisations in the world, and the two titans clashed back at MSI 2022, where both teams took one match each off each other in the Stage 2 Rumble portion of the event. In the end, T1 came out on top in the Semi-Finals in a 3-0 stomping.

Red Bull League of its Own full line up now set in stone

The 5v5 showmatch series will see T1 take on waves of European threats, which appear to get progressively harder as the day goes on.

The full list of teams has now been revealed, with local teams NNO Old, BIG, and Eintracht Spandau starting the bouts, LEC's Karmine Corp and Team Heretics coming next, and Worlds opposition G2 Esports rounding off the line-up.

T1 could arrive in Berlin for the League of its Own series as World Champions, as the Korean roster will be itching to prove themselves in front of their own fans before flexing their medals in front of the LEC.
