The Regi- Pokemon have been something of a bizarre anomaly in recent years. The sextet of strange beasts has been memed to the moon and back for their bizarre noises and strange appearance, but are you ready for another one?

Aside from the fact that they're very heavily involved with their dedicated types (except for Regigigas, because last time we checked, "Gigas" wasn't a Pokemon type), the Regis are some serious toughies. A new Regi- Pokemon has arrived - though it might not be entirely real.

Regitube has won over the internet

A new Regi-Pokemon has taken the internet by storm, but there's there's the small problem that it's not actually an official Pokemon.

Going viral with a video of a man wearing swimming tubes for water slides all over his body, Canadian company The Tube Shack has accidentally launched its own Pokemon canon. The comments of the video were flooded with questions about how well the rubber beast would suit an inclusion in the world of Pokemon.

As fans give it loving nicknames, it seems that Regitube is the one that has stuck, and gamers can't get enough of the strange, squeaky, titan.

Fans are developing Regitube animations and stats

In adoration of the big floaty beast, Pokefans have been coming together to share their love for the tubular monster, sharing animations about what it would look like in a modern Pokemon game. Some have even come up with lore-accurate stats for it.

The Tube Shack has run with the idea of Regitube, sharing it on TikTok and racking up over 3.6 million views. Pokemon players love a good viral meme, and by the looks of it, Regitube's fame has only just started. Then comes the artwork, with sprite-inspired Regitubes to what it would look like in Paldea.

As there currently isn't a water-type Regi, we can only imagine The Pokemon Company will soon be stealing this one. The Pokemon might not be real, but it's certainly real [taps heart] in here. Long live the tube.
