Eddie and Sam, once best friends sharing sweets and petting fluffy in the chambers of Der Eisendrache, are back as bitter rivals in Black Ops 6.
The mad doctor and his nemesis ended things in a bitter way in Cold War, with Richtofen locking Sam inside the Aether and imprisoning her companions (such as Weaver).
Now though, Sam looks to be biting back from the universe beyond, as Liberty Falls’ Black Ops 6 reveal pits the two against each other through the lens of Richtofen - and is massive f-off Wunderwaffe.
Richtofen returns in Black Ops 6 for Liberty Falls
For the first time in many thousands of years across multiple timelines, Richtofen returns to Call of Duty Zombies as a playable character as he takes up arms in Liberty Falls.
The doc, haunted by the area where he lost his wife and child to a fire, appears in the trailer as the main protagonist, where he learns of the outbreak in both Liberty Falls and the Terminus prison, before heading into the Project Janus facility.
Here, he comes into a tussle with a spectral Sam as zombies break out around the area.
Roles appear to be reversed for the Zombies players, who usually support Samantha, but it won’t be any fun launching Eddie off the map in spite, and instead we will have to relish everything that this famed protagonist has to offer.
