Rocket League could be set to ditch Wasteland and Deadeye Canyon for the dusty panes of Tatooine, as another Star Wars reference has eluded to a crossover with The Mandalorian.

The droid-infused intergalactic series was first introduced to soccar with a Rocket League crossover back in 2023, where C3PO, R2D2, BB8, and K-2SO were all added as car bodies to celebrate Star Wars Day.

Now, ahead of 'May the fourth be with you', it appears that Rocket League could be planning another huge collaboration with the Jedi, as The Mandalorian prepares to land his ship on the playing field.

Rocket League tease a Mandalorian crossover

A month before Star Wars day, Rocket League's new social media team has made an elusive reference to The Mandalorian on its official Twitter account, which has left fans quite confused.

The page simply tweeted "This is the Way" with no context, which fans have now deciphered as being a reference to the catchphrase in The Mandalorian.

The quip is repeated in The Mandalorian many times, as a term of saying that this is the life that they chose to abide by, and has become a pop culture meme.

But if that wasn't enough to convince you, leakers have now found references to two Mandalorian bundles to arrive in Rocket League.

Rocket League leaks claim two The Mandalorian bundles are imminent

According to RocketPlanetGG, there will be two Star Wars-inspired bundles that will be added to the store on February 7, which will include one "Mandalorian Mayhem" bundle.

Previous Star Wars crossovers have not included any reference to The Mandalorian before, which indicates the aforementioned Tweet could be ramping up some new store features.

As to what a Rocket League x The Mandalorian crossover could look like, there are still few viable vehicles in the series which could work as soccar bodies, meaning it is likely that we will get character-inspired designs like last year, but with the likes of Mando, Grogu, Ahsoka Tano, or Boba Fett.
