The original Warzone may have finally been shut down by Activision, but some of the game's iconic weapons hold a legendary status within the CoD community.
When it comes to snipers, the Kar98k may have ruled the meta for countless seasons, but if you wanted raw firepower, nothing came close to the HDR.
While there are similar options, it's never felt like it's been possible to recreate the HDR in Warzone 2, as the gun's iconic bulky scope has never been available.
That was until now, when Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has managed to resurrect the HDR on Al Mazrah and Vondel with a "secret" loadout.
'Secret' MCPR-300 loadout recreates HDR in Warzone 2

- Ammunition: .300 Mag Explosive
- Magazine: 5 Round Mag
Metaphor's recreation of the OG HDR revolves around using the MCPR-300 as a base, due to the weapon's devastating power at long range.
Of course, the primary feature that transforms this loadout into the HDR is the 6.3x-14x Carrack optic. This bulky scope recreates the HDR's default sight perfectly, taking you back to the days of Verdansk.
The rest of the setup aims to push the sniper's damage to the limit and take out enemies in an instant with the .300 Mag Explosive ammunition.
It's worth noting that this loadout is built for picking off opponents from afar and not close range, so Overkill will be a must. Once you've equipped this perk, you'll have access to a meta SMG like the Lachmann Sub, or AR like the Kastov 762.
How popular is the MCPR-300 in Warzone 2?
The MCPR-300 may be sitting behind the Signal 50 in overall popularity, but it still sports an impressive 3.4% pick rate according to WZRanked.
While certainly not underrated, adding the HDR scope and the rest of this build may elevate your ability to take out foes on the battlefield with the MCPR.
So, if you're tired of using the same old sniper loadouts and want a nostalgia hit with a recreation of the HDR, this is the setup for you.
