The Elder Scrolls 6 would be up there with one of the most hyped games in history, if only it felt real. The title reveal (if you can call it that) from Bethesda got a lot of players excited, as at least knowing that a sequel to Skyrim is on the way is exciting in itself.
As it's just a title, there's no way of knowing how far along the much-hyped sequel is, or anything about its visuals, setting, and narrative. It could be a gargantuan deal in the gaming community, but as of right now, there's not a lot to pique the interest of fans who just want Bethesda to pull its fingers out and get The Elder Scrolls 6 done.
Skyrim Grandma Tells Todd Howard To Hurry Up
And now, one of the most surprising and prominent figures in Elder Scrolls fandom is asking for Bethesda to get a wiggle on. Speaking at PAX East 2022, the legendary Skyrim Grandma has asked Todd Howard to crack on with Elder Scrolls 6.
Shirley Curry is known as the 85-year-old Skyrim super-fan, who shot to fame on Twitch. She recently appeared at PAX, with some fans asking what she'd like to say to Bethesda boss Todd Howard if he were at the conference in person. Skyrim Grandma is probably the most popular content creator out there for Skyrim specifically, making her quite the authority on the matter.
"How about 'hi'?" she joked. "No, I'd ask him to give me a cool game, and I'd ask him to hurry up and finish The Elder Scrolls 6. I want to play it before I die." Well, they'd better crack on and do it now, then. Now that she's asked, it's about time that Bethesda gets the job done. It's only fair, really.
Skyrim Grandma Is Going To Be An Elder Scrolls NPC
After she rocketed to Elder Scrolls stardom, a fan started a petition to get Skyrim Grandma to play an NPC character in The Elder Scrolls 6. As the petition reached just under 50,000 signatures, Curry was invited to Bethesda to meet with Todd Howard, and she confirmed on Twitter that she'd officially be joining the game as an NPC.
The streamer has clearly made her stamp on the game, and it's nice to see that she'll be making an appearance in the game. Sadly, we've already been wanted The Elder Scrolls 6 is still a long way off. It's been confirmed as an Xbox exclusive, but apart from that, we're as in the dark as you are. Come on Todd, get cracking the whips because Bethesda needs to hurry up and make it now.
