While ARs are the kings of consistency at mid to long-range and the default for the majority of Warzone players, Battle Rifles are the true hard-hitters if you have the skill to use them.
The category is typically difficult to control but comes with blistering damage output, which means the kickback is a downside well worth taking on the chin.
Of course, you'd currently imagine the only viable Battle Rifles are those from MW3, but WhosImmortal has found an outlier that seems to have been forgotten by the community.
This MW2 weapon is a true "sleeper" pick that comes packed with an "extremely fast" TTK, making it easy to wipe enemies in the blink of an eye.

WhosImmortal has decided to spotlight MW2's TAQ-V, a Battle Rifle that deals absolutely devastating damage at mid-range. While you can use the weapon in full auto, in Season 2 Reloaded, it's best to operate it in semi-auto mode. This allows you to be more accurate with your shots and land those crucial headshots.
This is definitely a high-skill gap Battle Rifle that will require time to master, but it's a brilliant investment if you enjoy using MW2 guns - as barely any of them are viable at the moment.
The loadout above focuses on enhancing the TAQ-V's already "extremely fast" TTK and giving you enough stability to hit the target consistently at mid-range.
An 829ms TTK at 45m is hard to beat and outmatches countless meta ARs and LMGs, so it would be a mistake to ignore this hidden gem.
How popular is the TAQ-V in Warzone?
Breaking down the gun's popularity shows just how much it's going under the radar, with WZStats revealing it has a 0.3% pick rate.
Lost in the sea of other forgotten weapons, the TAQ-V deserves far more attention, but it feels like it's being ignored due to its reputation as an MW2 weapon.
This is a huge bonus for anyone who's looking for a unique loadout, though, and something you don't see every day in Warzone.
