Season 1 Reloaded is on the horizon, and as a result, the Warzone community is expecting major balance changes.
Top picks like the MTZ Interceptor, Pulemyot 762, RAM-7, and WSP Swarm are likely going to be hit with major nerfs and potentially pushed out of the meta.
As a result, eagle-eyed competitors have been on the lookout for off-meta and sleeper weapons that may swoop into the top-tier category once these changes arrive.
Well, WhosImmortal has found an underused Marksman Rifle that deserves far more attention due to its blisteringly quick long-range TTK.

Nerfs are coming in Warzone, and that means space will open up in the meta, but which guns will fill the gaps? For WhosImmortal, the MCW 6.8 Marksman Rilfe has potential, and it all comes down to the weapon's long-range TTK in its single-fire mode.
To put it into perspective, the CoD guru compared the MCW 6.8 with the MTZ Interceptor, MTZ 762, and even the powerhouse BAS-B. Surprisingly, past 30 metres the rifle outclasses every other option by a long way, with a deadly 811ms time to kill.
If you want to get the most out of the MCW 6.8, you need to use it in its single-fire mode, which also grants you extra accuracy. In most situations, it will "melt" enemies with a "3-4 shot kill," giving them very little opportunity to fight back.
How popular is the MCW 6.8 in Warzone?
Saying this gun is underrated would be a massive understatement, considering it only maintains a minuscule 0.19% pick rate in Season 1 according to WZStats.
Almost no one is using this weapon and if hefty balance changes arrive, expect that to change very quickly. Its damage is too hard to ignore, so if you want to stay one step ahead of the crowd, start learning the intricacies of this gun now.
