For weeks, the Lockwood 300 took over the Warzone meta with its one-shot kill potential at close-range, instantly eliminating any foes in its path.
After releasing the DOOM Bundle and watching the sales roll in, Activision swiftly nerfed the weapon, making it significantly weaker.
Now, a lot of the community assume there are no shotguns worth using in Season 6, but Warzone expert Metaphor has disagrees.
For him, there's one shotgun that's an absolute powerhouse at close-range and is being slept on by a lot of competitors.
Bryson 800 is "best shotgun" in Warzone Season 6

- Barrel: 29.5" Rifled Barrel

- Laser: Point-G3P 04
- Stock: Stockless Pistol Grip
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
In a recent patch, the Bryson 800's close to mid-range damage was buffed, making it significantly more "consistent" than ever before.
As a result, Metaphor argues the Bryson 800 is now the "best shotgun" in the game and while it can't one-shot like the pre-nerf Lockwood, it's two-shot kill potential is devastating as it's so "easy to use."
The loadout above effectively makes the Bryson's hip-fire as tight as possible, allowing you to run riot in your matches.
This is the ultimate aggressive setup for players who love to challenge their enemies and put pressure on them during skirmishes.
How popular is the Bryson 800 in Warzone?
According to WZStats, the Bryson 800 has a 0.4% pick rate, which just shows how under appreciated the weapon is in Season 6.
While it won't suit every type of Warzone player, it's ideal for those who love using movement to their advantage and closing down their foes.
The Bryson 800 may not one-shot players like the old Lockwood, but it's a force at close-quarters and it absolutely deserves more attention. If you were waiting for a shotty to return to the game's meta, your time has finally arrived.
