With Warzone 2 on the horizon, the details of the map have actually been few and far between. Apart from leaks that the remastered version of the beloved Modern Warfare 2 map, Highrise, will feature atop of a skyscraper, and that there will be more 'OG MW2' hotspots, we don't actually know too much about it.
Warzone 2 is just three months away, and while the developers have yet to share images of the map that we will operate on, some streamers and inside personalities may have the scoop already.
One streamer, in particular, claims to have already seen in-game footage of Warzone 2 and has begun to share details of what it looks like.
Streamer Claims Warzone 2 Map Looks 'Beautiful'
Warzone streamer by the name of "Metaphor" has claimed that he's seen a good selection of Warzone 2 gameplay, and has begun to comment on some recent scares, including the rumoured recoil patterns and that state of the map.
Taking to Twitter, the player said, "I have seen gameplay of Multiplayer/DMZ/ Warzone 2 and can confirm it looks gorgeous visually, the buildings are detailed on the inside better, and the movement is more grounded."
"The Warzone 2 / DMZ Map looks BEAUTIFUL in-game," he added.
Warzone 2 Map Looks Like A Blackout And Caldera Love-child
As the finer details, many fans wondered if the upcoming Warzone 2 map will look anything like the tried, tested, and often yearned for Verdansk.
However, Metaphor said that the unnamed location looks more like a Blackout and Caldera crossover, presumably boasting quite a nature-heavy landscape with highly detailed building designs.
After also having been quizzed on the frightening recoil clips in Modern Warfare 2, the streamer also rubbished the claims of it being replicable of the real experience. It seems like we were served a hyperbole of lies.
