The new era of Zelda is almost upon us - rejoice. Tears of the Kingdom is nearly here, and we can barely believe it - especially as there's still plenty to be explored in the Hyrule of Breath of the Wild.

The sequel is expected to be the next great masterpiece of the Nintendo Switch's life cycle, but as is typical of Switch games, it's not likely to go down in price soon. Thankfully, there's an impressive Tears of the Kingdom deal that lets you grab the 2023 game for practically nothing.

GameStop is selling Tears of the Kingdom for $20

GameStop has a brand-new deal to commemorate the release of Tears of the Kingdom and gives you the chance to pick up the game for only $20. There's an obvious catch, meaning you'll only get the cheap Tears of the Kingdom deal if you're willing to part with a couple of your unplayed games in the process.

A positively monstrous list of trade-in games has been revealed, allowing players to get $50 off their purchase of the new Zelda title when two are traded in. Luckily for those who want to hang onto their pricier Switch game, it isn't restricted exclusively to Nintendo titles.

Players can trade in the likes of Atomic Heart, Detective Pikachu, and Demon's Souls to get money off Tears of the Kingdom, but if you want it, you might have to be quick about it. As well as only being available in the USA, the deal is a limited offer until May 20.

What games can I trade in for Tears of the Kingdom?

The full list of games that can be traded in for the new game can be found on the GameStop site, with the conditions claiming that if the games exceed the trade-in value of $50, you could also get a voucher that you can use towards Tears of the Kingdom too.

We don't imagine many of you will be trading in the brand-new Resident Evil 4 remake or Hogwarts Legacy, but then again, if you aren't precious about keeping a collection, swap them out for the next chapter of Hyrule's complicated lineage.

Some games that have tanked in value appear on the list, like Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, so make sure you do some digging to see which of your games are eligible. This could be the greatest hustle of your life.
