The grind for 2019's Damascus camo was unreal. The mastery camo for Modern Warfare was one that changed the game entirely.

This coveted Call of Duty prize kept players entertained as they trudged through unbearable weapon challenges for the sake of repping the ultimate flex.

Similarly, the path to Orion in Modern Warfare 2 requires ditching your morals to sit on head glitches for long shots, all in favour of having a shiny gun and a huge ego-killer.

But, imagine if you could just buy the legendary camo a few years later? Well, that seems to be the case, as the Damascus camo is set to come to MW2...

Damascus Camo Leaked For MW2

According to new leaks, the Damascus camo is set to return to the franchise in the coming weeks.

Reddit user "beefycthu" posted the signature red and purple swirling camouflage on a Modern Warfare 2 weapon, claiming that it will be added as the Damascus Forge in-game.

Before you start getting ready for the grind, things will apparently be a little easier this time. Phew, that should save your fingers some wear and tear.

The Damascus reportedly won't require any challenges to unlock. Instead, there's a catch with the Damascus camo that you won't be able to get it on whichever gun you want...

MW2 Damascus Camo Set To Be Restricted To Bundle

With the Damascus Camo leaked to be arriving soon, it now appears that it will be restricted to just one bundle. If this is all true, a maximum of two pre-determined guns will be able to support this previously legendary wrap.

From the leaked images, it appears the Damascus Forge bundle will include the popular M4, and will likely also have one further weapon included. The snag is that this bundle will only be in the store too, not the battle pass, so you'll have to fork out a few quid to get it.

Fans have been less than happy with this leak, claiming, "They should make shop camo universal," while others decided to reminisce over the £2.49 camos from Black Ops 2 over this "rip-off".
