The Last Of Us Teased For Universal's Halloween Horror Nights

This year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios could be getting a nice The Last Of Us themed adventure.

There's a lot about The Last of Us that makes it pretty spooky.

Though the narrative of the story follows threads of the paradoxical nature of revenge and looking out for one another in the face of complete societal calamity, it's still basically a scary game about zombies, albeit one with a little more finesse than others.

Clickers, runners, the Rat King - all pretty grim, all things considered, and they don't half make those abandoned buildings one hell of a nightmare.

And now, that same nightmare could be coming straight for us.

The Last Of Us Could Be In The Next Halloween Horror Night

A fan account for Horror Nights has shared a prospective map of properties they think could come to Universal Studios to celebrate Halloween, and buried among the properties is The Last of Us with a building that houses scares themed around the game.

The map is comprised of the collective rumours and leaks that have been sent to the Twitter page, meaning that even though the map is unofficial and will undergo changes before Halloween rolls around, there's still a chance that a The Last of Us attraction could make an appearance.

It's unclear if this would tie directly into the video game, or rather it'd be at Universal to promote the release of the upcoming The Last of Us TV series with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, but frankly, we'd be happy either way.

What Would The Last of Us Attraction At Universal Look Like?

There's no telling what the attraction could really be if it came to life, but we imagine it'd be some kind of broken down, dilapidated building rife with clickers, spores, and the like. Plus, to be perfectly honest, some help from Ellie and Joel wouldn't go amiss.

All things considered, The Last of Us has an environment that is perfect for this kind of attraction, and though many years will have a focus on movies and original properties, this would be the perfect foray into the world of video games for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Of course, this isn't confirmed - but it'd certainly go down a treat with us if The Last Of Us came to life at Universal. If it's officially announced, then we'll be there in a heartbeat.
