Fetch the strawberries and cream because TopSpin 2K25 is heading courtside for a bit of summer sun - well, maybe not if you're in the United Kingdom. Still, all the fun of the world's oldest tennis tournament is being brought bang up to date for Season 2.
2K has just announced that TopSpin 2K25 Season 2 is now live, boasting the new Centre Court Pass presented by American Express. The meticulously manicured lawns of Wimbledon are welcoming some new blood to TopSpin 2K25, with World No. 1 ranked Jannik Sinner swinging his racket, but that's not all on offer.
Jannik Sinner is making his mark on TopSpin 2K25 Season 2
With Wimbledon running from July 1 to July 14, TopSpin 2K25's digital homage is just in time for those who can't get a ticket to the real thing or simply prefer to enjoy the action from the comfort of their own home. A host of Wimbledon rewards are on offer, as well as new items in the Pro Shop.
Centre Court Pass Season 2 boasts a series of American Express-themed cosmetics, including a racket, wristbands, jacket, shorts, tights, tank tops, and more. There's also the Gucci Tennis collection of in-game apparel, a Gucci-themed court, and a Gucci Tennis Cup tournament - how very sophisticated.
TopSpin 2K25 staple and cover icon Serena Williams is also getting two new outfits in the form of her 2015 Wimbledon victory outfit (available at Free Tier 5) and her US Open 2016 outfit (available at Free Tier 50). Those who stump up for Season 2's Premium Centre Court Pass can unlock alternate outfits for pros Iga Świątek and Matteo Berrettini.
The big news is that Gucci Global Brand Ambassador, current World No. 1, 13-time winner on the Tour, and 2024 Australian Open winner Jannik Sinner is heading to TopSpin 2K25 from today (June 20). Before you ask, yes, he's got his iconic Gucci duffle bag.
Test your skills on the G-Court
From June 20 at 11:00 PM PT, the TopSpin 2K25 community is being given a challenge. If they can achieve 22,000 collective matches played as Sinner in 2K Tour and Exhibition modes by the end of Season 2, every player will earn his AO24 top. You have until August 14 at 11:00 PM PT, so get playing.
The Gucci Tennis collection apparel arrives in-game on June 27, featuring as a reward for winning matches in the TopSpin 2K25 World Tour Gucci Tennis Cup. The cup runs during the following weeks as part of Season 2:
- June 27th to July 4th, 2024;
- July 11th to July 18th, 2024;
- July 25th to August 1st, 2024;
- August 8th to August 15th, 2024.
If that wasn't enough, you can test your skills on a new Italy-based grass court known as the G-Court. The G-Court was created in collaboration with Gucci and will be available from June 20 in Exhibition mode or through the Gucci Tennis Cup for a limited time in the World Tour.
Wimbledon is THE tennis event of the year, and while it's always a star-studded affair, it looks like TopSpin 2K25 is also rolling out the red carpet for Season 2.
