In Warzone 2's current meta, the ISO Hemlock stands out as the popular AR by a significant margin, with the majority of players using it as their go-to weapon.
According to WZRanked, the gun has an unbelievable pick rate of 16.2%, putting it at the very top of the rankings. Despite this, other incredibly strong picks actually have a faster TTK than the ISO Hemlock, meaning they could be a better option for you.
WZ2 expert WhosImmortal has identified one such AR that's extremely underrated but dishes out devastating damage and is a laser beam from long-range.

Out of all of WhosImmortal's AR choices on his list, the WZ2 guru claims the STB 556 is one of the 'easiest to use' because it's a 'laser beam' at long-range. So, if you're somebody who struggles to control recoil on their weapons, this could be the perfect AR for you.
Not only that, the 'slept-on' gun has a deadly TTK that takes down enemies in milliseconds if you're accurate with your shots. It's worth noting, the STB 556 is limited to a 42 Round Mag, which is quite small. This means you could be put at risk while frequently reloading frequently - especially against aggressive players.
To ensure you're not caught off-guard, make sure you're tracking your ammo count so you don't get surprised by a foe mid-reload. However, this is a solo-carry weapon that can completely take over a match and give you plenty of opportunities to rack up kills.

The STB 556 has a 0.6% pick rate in Warzone 2, meaning it's eighteenth in the overall popularity rankings.
The lethal AR is being severely underrated by the community and certainly deserves more attention than it's getting. So, if you're tired of using the ISO Hemlock and need a new assault rifle to take your gameplay to the next level, consider testing out the STB 556.
