The Warzone 2 meta has still yet to shift away from the likes of the RPK, Fennec, Vaznev, and the TAQ-56, all of which have been popular choices of weaponry since the game was launched nearly six months ago.

Barring a little bit of wavering when the Hemlock ISO was released, and again now that the one-shot Intervention has arrived for those marksman fans, the Call of Duty weapon pool has remained almost untouched.

But now, it seems like there is finally another rival in the automatic gun pool that can change the meta, as a TTK-topping SMG has been unearthed.

WhosImmortal finds the best all-around SMG with PDSW Warzone 2 loadout

As a stalwart of the Call of Duty franchise, this year's PDW has not quite lived up to expectations so far, but after a few recent buffs, the extremely accurate SMG is now topping the TTK charts and is being dubbed as the best close-range gun in the game by popular content creator "WhosImmortal."

The YouTuber found that the weapon has a best-in-class TTK rate, has laser-like precision and recoil control, and is extremely mobile, all of which are a great combination for Warzone 2.

The best PDSW 528 Warzone 2 loadout, as used by WhosImmortal, is:

  • Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mw
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Comb: TV TACComb
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip

Underrated PDSW is slipping through the net in Warzone 2

"It’s the best all-around SMG in the game right now, by far and away in my opinion," said WhosImmortal on his YouTube channel, as despite its prevalence, the PDSW 528 only sits at a 1.5% pick rate, according to WZRanked.

The SMG currently sits below the VEL 46 and the Lachmann Sub as Vaznev alternatives but has begun to climb above the likes of the Fennec.

So, if you fancy being a trendsetter and breaking the meta up yourself, maybe this PDSW 528 loadout might be your ticket to success.
