So far, Riot Games has tied its respective titles' esports legacies to the games in different ways, but in both League of Legends and VALORANT, the best of the best are all honoured in-game.

League of Legends World Champions are granted specific skins for their favourite characters, while VALORANT has a crowdfunded bundle for players to use, and the winnings are dished out to the Champions teams. Winners also have their own team activations discounted to push sales and revenue.

But VALORANT players are still envious of League's Champions skins and are calling for some higher honours for the world's greatest team.

VALORANT fans eye a LoL-esque Champions-winners skins

The Champions 2024 bundle is leaked to be quite similar to the previous skins gone by, with a golden twinge being illuminated by white and purple, giving off regal tones while being repetitive of the previous three years.

This has left fans calling for a change, with some demanding a Champions-winners honourary variant to mix things up.

After having the question posed on Twitter, one fan said, "They could make it an additional variant for the VCT bundle. After the tournament ends, they can add a variant based on the winning team."

Another fan agreed, adding, "I honestly love that idea." Others argued some slightly different ideas that honour the annual Champions winners.

"I still like the idea of the Champions skin having a different variant for their respective world champion. Having a purple and white variant in the 2021 vandal with the Acend logo on the finisher and the same thing for the Phantom and the 2023 Vandal with EG and Loud [respectively]," said another fan.

Following the recent leaks, the Champions 2024 bundle will likely be revealed in the coming days as the pinnacle event looks to spring into life in August.
