VALORANT invisibility glitch is destroying Jett
A great deal of the enjoyment that comes from VALORANT hinges on its ability to become a deeply competitive game. Its balancing is so strict, and its gameplay so tight, it truly rivals the likes of CS:GO for the crown of the best tactical shooter on the market.
The trouble with this is that it amplifies VALORANT's minor glitches to game-breaking nightmares. That's exactly what's happened to Jett, as a VALORANT invisibility glitch makes it look like she's disappeared.

One player has shared a video detailing the new VALORANT invisibility glitch on Reddit, proving that it's creating nightmares for players who main Jett. As one of the game's most popular characters, she goes completely invisible.
The clip shows the original poster playing the game carefully, attempting to take home the win for their team. An enemy Jett starts shooting at them - despite not actually being there. The player shoots back and manages to kill the invisible Jett, who then appears with her death animation.
Thankfully she's not entirely impossible to spot, as one angle of her weapons is visible. Still, that doesn't mean that a character's missing model isn't a huge problem.
Fans react to VALORANT's invisible Jett
"Small indie company moment," comments one user on the original post, jibing at the fact that Riot Games should be more than capable of squashing this bug before it gets any worth.
"It happens to me when Google and VALORANT is open at the same time," responds another user. "Google takes RAM and VALORANT doesn't properly load the models though it loads after a few seconds." A third joked, "Crazy new Jett buff," and a fourth concluded, "Buy more skins so they can fix this issue."
Things are always a bit rocky at the start of an Episode, with Faze and Viper's decay also being broken. Despite there being a reason for the bug, there's definitely no reason for Riot Games to allow for it to stand. After all, we're not sure we can manage lobbies full of invisible enemies.
