You might be dressing down your Christmas Tree and working off a pretty hefty two weeks on the chocolate and festive feasts, but that doesn't mean all presents are off the table when it comes to January.

For VALORANT fans, in particular, the season of gift-giving is going nowhere despite the red man retiring back to Lapland in the new year, as Riot Games and its handheld partners are reportedly getting ready to drop one massive surprise down our chimneys. According to new leaks, VALORANT Mobile is on its way.

VALORANT Mobile leaked for January Global Beta test

VALORANT Mobile has been in the works for quite some time, and it looks like Riot is prepared to squeeze the trigger on the Operator to get it out before any supposed notions of a console variant of the PC-reliant game.

Leaks coming out of the camp of renowned profiles "PlayerIGN" (not affiliated with the website) and "SargeOP" indicate that VALORANT Mobile is nearly here.

Both leakers claim that VALORANT Mobile is coming in January 2024, or "early 2024", as the final bells and whistles are ironed out. The latter leaker, SargeOP, claims that there will be a Global Beta Test in January.

VALORANT Mobile leaks show the alleged handheld layout

Not only has the proposed date been leaked, but the UI for agents like Jett have also begun cropping up ahead of the Beta.

Images of the reported Chinese test suggest that all of the abilities will be showcased on the top right of the screen while the bottom right will have movement mechanics like jump, crouch, dash, and reload. Over on the other side, the leaks suggest you will have a movement analogue pad and a firing button below the minimap.

Riot Games has yet to confirm these rumours and leaks, but it's likely those who registered for the Beta will soon be notified.
