As far as ongoing masterpieces are concerned, Warframe dines among the greats, having been a stellar title for the better part of a decade.

Having been crowned with titles such as "Best Ongoing Game", "Still Playing Award", and "Fan Favorite Shooter Game", the free-to-play RPG has seen players plunge endless hours into crafting, slaying, and roaming the open world map.

And now the world of ancient warriors is expanding from the comfort of your chair to the warmth of your fingertips, as Digital Extremes is taking Warframe to iOS.

Warframe is coming to mobile via iOS

After ten years of playing supporting roles in Tenno's fight against a string of fearsome antagonists through controllers or keyboards, you're now set to get hands-on, literally, as Warframe is coming to iOS devices.

The mobile game will be coming to Apple products only on February 20, with an expected Android release to come down the line, and will feature the typical touch-controls of mobile gaming, including the analogue movement and tap-to-fire combat.

First-time players will also get the Aeolak Primary Weapon Starter Pack to get up to speed with the game quickly, catching up to those who have a decade's worth of utility.

Warframe Mobile will feature cross-progression with consoles and PC

With Warframe having amassed over 50 million players since its launch, Digital Extremes has been keen to make sure that all of your progress isn't for nought, and the mobile game will continue the progress of your console/PC saves with the help of cross-platform progression.

The cross-save feature that has already been brought into play for PC, consoles and Nintendo Switch has now been extended to the mobile port, allowing you to pick up from where you left off seamlessly.

So, whether you're a devotee of Tenno, or simply fancy slicing enemies up like a renewed and gory episode of Fruit Ninjas, Warframe's iOS port appears to have something for everybody.
