There are few constants in life - death, taxes, and a new Warframe update. The game has been going for some time now, and through a combination of no cost on the door and an infectious gameplay loop, Warframe has earned its status as a gravitational point for fans.

It's good news that we have games like this to return to time and time again, always met with new and exciting features. It doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon, as Warframe introduces new kit for players to take for a spin - and it's coming incredibly soon.

Warframe's new Protea Prime tech is coming in May

A look at the complete pack for Protea Prime's arrival in Warframe featuring exclusive cosmetics.

After its big jump to iOS, Warframe has revealed its new update, introducing access to the Protea Prime kit very soon. The new content allows players to craft Protea Prime using blueprints, systems, and neuroptics that can be earned in Void Fissure missions.

That's if players want to go the long way around, as she'll also be available through the in-game market around the time of her launch. Protea Prime's attacks are described as ones that span time and forgotten technologies, utilising grenade clusters, plasma charges, and the ability to rewind time itself.

Along with the new character, marketplace bundles feature new armour and the Temporal Prime Ephemera energy aura.

The character is set to arrive in the game on May 1, so you've only got a short time to prepare. If you need a guided tour of Warframe's new features, there will be a dev stream on the Warframe official YouTube channel on April 26, which should tell you all that you need to know.

It's as good a time as ever to get involved with Warframe, especially with these exciting new features and cosmetics on their way. Even though it's not as if players need more content, they're not about to start complaining.
