In the current Warzone 2 meta, one Battle Rifle stands above the rest in its category - and that's the SO-14. The deadly weapon is very similar to the DMR of old from the original Warzone, and has one of the strongest TTKs thanks to its raw firepower.

However, with Season 4 Reloaded on the horizon, a lot of the community expect the SO-14 to get hit with a major nerf. As a result, players are attempting to predict the next top-tier contender that's going to steal its crown.

Well, WhosImmortal believes they've found the answer and identified another Battle Rifle that's going to completely "take over" Warzone 2.

For WhosImmortal, the TAQ-V has a real opportunity to "take over" the meta in Season 4 Reloaded, as the weapon's devastating TTK is hard to ignore.

Delving into the stats, the WZ2 expert compared the TAQ-V to the M13B, Lachmann 556, HCR-56, and the RAAL MG. Up to 31 metres, the TAQ-V has the best TTK, only matched by the HCR - which is significantly bulkier and slower in terms of mobility.

The gun's damage drop-off at 31m is incredibly minor, meaning it then is only slightly slower in terms of damage output than the RAAL MG up to 70m. This is unbelievable as the RAAL is a hefty LMG known for its power, and it's almost matched by a Battle Rifle, which offers far more mobility.

All this comes together to create a hard-hitting weapon with similar damage to an LMG, but also the perk of having the movement stats of a Battle Rifle.

How popular is the TAQ-V in Warzone 2?

According to WZRanked, the TAQ-V has a solid 3.8% pick rate in the current meta, meaning it's in a strong position to rise up the rankings in Season 4 Reloaded.

So, if you want to stay one step ahead of the competition and start mastering a gun that could be a top-tier next patch, consider testing out the build above.
