The Warzone 2 meta is constantly changing, with different guns rising up to the top of the rankings. All as new loadouts are found, and balance changes are rolled out. Despite this, there's one weapon that never seems to disappear. While it isn't immensely popular, those who use it are particularly difficult to deal with.

We're obviously talking about the infamous Riot Shield, a tool that's capable of blocking all damage. Alongside stun grenades, it causes an unbelievable amount of frustration for opponents.

So, what's the best way to dispatch these annoying Riot Shield fans? Well, one Warzone 2 player has found the perfect solution.

Riot Shield user gets insta-killed

Taking to the CODWarzone subreddit, user Put1NyaHead showcased a clip of them dispatching a pesky Riot Shield user in the endgame of a match, but not in a typical manner.

With just them and the Riot Shielder left alive, Put1NyaHead was positioned on a roof above the opponent to get a grasp on the best way to kill the well-defended enemy.

After getting hit with a stun grenade, Put1NyaHead realised they had to think fast and noticed a vehicle just beside them in the gas. They immediately ran over to it, hopped in, and then ploughed towards the Riot Shield opponent - instantly taking them down.

To add insult to injury, the Riot Shield player attempted to self-revive, but the vehicle was left on a hill, so it rolled backwards down onto them, sending them back to the menu.

Of course, not everyone has a vehicle on hand in the endgame to eliminate a Riot Shield user. Thankfully, there are some techniques that are just as effective.

One of which is the Shock Stick, a Tactical that electrocutes enemies and keeps them in place for a short period of time. This opens a window to get behind the Riot Shielder and take them out.

Another option is the classic Stun Grenade paired with Semtex, which first slows down the enemy and then sets them up for the explosion from the throwable.

With these tips in mind, the next time you encounter a Riot Shield player, you should be well-equipped to take them down and secure the victory.
