A frustrating Warzone 2 bug is trapping players in the Gulag forever, making it impossible for anyone on Al Mazrah to win the match.

The Gulag is one of the most iconic features in Warzone 2, giving players a second chance in an intense 1v1 after they've been eliminated from Al Mazrah.
It can take countless hours of practice to truly master the Gulag, as a lot of players fold under the pressure of knowing it's their last chance saloon to get back in the game.
Of course, before you can take on your opponent, you have to wait in the lobby above the Gulag arena for your turn to commence.
Unfortunately, a frustrating bug is trapping competitors inside the Gulag lobby. This means the match is unwinnable for anyone still on Al Mazrah, as the gas will eventually kill them. This leaves only the Gulag players - trapped forever in this permanent purgatory.
Game-breaking Warzone 2 bug is locking players in Gulag
Taking to the CODWarzone subreddit, user Matt8992 created a thread showing that they got stuck in the Gulag lobby with one other opponent due to a game-breaking bug.
This went on for over 15 minutes, and during that time, everybody in the actual battle royale match died to gas because they were unable to find the last two players.
Declaring that they were not going to leave the game under any circumstances, Matt8992 just had to wait until one of them left, or the match would continue to go on for an infinite amount of time.
Ultimately, the enemy left the lobby and granted Matt8992 a much-deserved win for patience. Still, it's likely the competitors in the actual game were extremely frustrated.

While a lot of the community found this Gulag issue funny, others slammed the game as "an absolute joke" that doesn't work properly."
For some, they're confused how a "billion-dollar company" can't "fix bugs like this that have been in for two whole seasons, f***ing ridiculous." Unfortunately, this doesn't seem like an uncommon bug in the Gulag, with multiple users reporting that it's happened to them.
Although it's frustrating for those trapped in the lobby in a neverending Gulag face-off, it affects the competitors on Al Mazrah the most, as they're unable to secure a victory that they've earned. Common Warzone L.
