Warzone hasn't exactly always come through with what its most dedicated players want.
Fans have suffered for some time, and as glitches and bugs truly ramp up day after day, Raven's attention has always seemed to be elsewhere. The problems simply aren't getting fixed, and it seems like the game is more focused on throwing in more cosmetics to make more money than actually balancing the Warzone experience.
But, it seems that Raven could be giving Call of Duty fans something they've wanted for some time, and it has actually been discovered through the means of the glitches that fans hate so much in the first place.
Glitch Hints That Warzone Is Getting Final Killcams
Ever since launch, fans have been asking for the chance to see the final kill that sees out each round of Warzone, and it looks like it could genuinely, finally, be on the way.
A video has been shared to the CODWarzone subreddit that seems to suggest that the final killcam will be making its way to the game, as player KezzaaB has stumbled upon it entirely accidentally.
The video shows them bagging the final kill of the game, and after the Warzone Victory screen appears, the kill replays with an incredibly similar UI to the regular killcam, only with "Final Kill" displayed in the corner.
This is a feature that fans have wanted for some time, and they've been sure to air their excitement in the comments.
Fans React To Potential Warzone Final Killcams
Fans are taking to the comments to discuss the potential of a new final killcam, and some reckon this isn't something that should have taken so long to make it into the game.
"I've always thought it should be a regular thing," says one commenter, and it's a sentiment that other users echo. Though it's not expected that many would stick around until the end of the game to watch it if they're not on track for a win, it still counts as a fun little extra detail for players.
One user thinks they know how to make it even more exciting though - Hillbillycreeep has suggested that "They should have a whole montage for the winning team." It'd be a work for Raven to put it into use, but frankly, it's probably the best idea for the game's endgame. As something that gives the winning team to truly relish their hard-earned win would be a total treat and would make the effort of trudging through until the end just that little bit sweeter.
Though a final killcam may seem fairly inconsequential to outsiders, the feature would be a nice treat for players who can clutch out a win. It looks like the final killcam is on its way into Warzone - and maybe, just maybe, fans might be happy with what Raven Software is working on. That'd make for a nice change.
