Is there anything harder than pleasing a Warzone fan? Cracking the Da Vinci Code? Discovering time travel? Finding Wally in a sea of Wandas? Rumour has it that anybody playing the battle royale is cursed to a life of frustration and anger, amid any attempts to spice up Warzone's current tepid atmosphere.

The curse of anger has continued to spread throughout Warzone fans, and this time their venting is targeted at the beloved Rebirth Island.

The popular small-scale map has played host to the latest of many limited-time game modes set for Season 5; Rebirth Island After Dark has drawn the clocks towards the stroke of midnight, and fans simply hate the update.

Warzone Fans Hate Rebirth Island After Dark

Taking over from an update where Rebirth Island's lighting was warmed with a saturated sunset, the After Dark game mode has seen the Alcatraz prison be haunted by the night.

However, unlike previous night-based game modes, fans have quickly begun to hate the update, branding it as the "worst lighting game yet".

With a clear fog cast over the map, players have vented their annoyance, with one fan saying, "This is the worst lighting yet. Why can't they just do a proper night as they did before?"

Warzone's Lighting Causes Major Issues In Season 5

"What irritates me is they did it perfectly last year. It was a moon lit rebirth with street lights and the lights inside the buildings on. No sunset, no weird haze, literally rebirth at night," continued one fan, blasting the eerie mist over the map.

It's not the first time in the last week or two that Warzone fans have complained about the environment either. Only last week were people calling for the sun to be nerfed amid a sunrise ambience.

With hope, the graveyard-esque lighting will quickly be removed, with Raven Software clearly keen to trial a range of lighting settings before Warzone is left behind.
