Warzone Is Broken On Xbox (Again)

We've now reached the point with Warzone that when it is revealed that something is wrong with the battle royale title, it hardly phases us.

Maybe we've become deeply jaded and cynical, but damn, Warzone suffers. Bugs, glitches, hackers - players have been put through the wringer with this game, and with little sign of things improving post-RICOCHET, they're moodier than ever. Though a second Warzone game is now on the way, we'll have to make do with Caldera for now, much to the disappointment of many.

But, the same can't really be said for Xbox users, who seem to be suffering especially with a bug that's keeping them out.

Call of Duty Warzone Keeps Crashing On Xbox

Fans have been reporting issues getting into games in Warzone once again, but this time, it's a problem that is exclusive to Xbox players.

The problem is causing the entire game to crash when players on the console attempt to jump into a regular game of battle royale, or seemingly from the statement from Raven Software, when players try to get to Caldera at all.

"We are investigating reports of some Xbox users crashing when attempting to join a match on Caldera," reads the tweet from Raven, coming with a link to the Warzone bug fixes Trello board.

It's a bizarre glitch, and it's one that needs fixing immediately if it's keeping players from actually playing the game. Bugs and glitches in-game are one thing, but not being able to play whatsoever isn't exactly a good look for Raven.

But, there could be a workaround.

Warzone Players Find Xbox Bug Workaround

YouTuber YourSixGaming has seemingly found a way to bypass the glitch that boots players out of the game when trying to drop into Caldera. He follows a series of steps and rifles through his settings before resetting his game, and then relaunching and jumping in.

Each of the steps is detailed in their YouTube video, so if you're struggling, follow the steps and get back into the fight.

It's frustrating either way that the bug exists in the first place, but at least Raven Software is working on something of a fix. Every bug threatens to be the final straw for players - and who knows how many players this one will lose Warzone.
