Black Ops 6's Warzone integration is all up in the air, as omnidirection is set to ruffle feathers first before any new maps arrive.
Urzikstan, as leaks have us believe, will reign supreme for the first few months with this Treyarch movement overhaul, before the delayed Verdansk arrives soon after.
But beyond that, it was always rumoured that another map was under development from the Black Ops 6 designers, and now it seems like this battle royale landscape has been revealed to be a Hunger Games 2-like island-hopper.
Warzone's 2025 map leaked as Blackout-like coastal landscape
Ahead of the CoD Next showcase later this month which will detail more Black Ops 6 multiplayer features, a string of huge leaks have now appeared online through a reported jailbroken PS4 glitch.
One of the main leaks appears to be the 2025 Warzone map, which, as you can imagine from the developers behind Blackout, is very cut from the same cloth.
The leak, reportedly depicting "Avalon", is filled with greenery and island coasts, as bridges and rivers separate the map in its entirety. There are well-populated metropolitan areas too, to serve as POIs, and even what looks to be a colosseum as there's a succinct Roman-looking stone architecture on display. Along the shore, there are multiple smaller islands and a lighthouse.
Of course, it's likely that these are all rough assets and have yet to be polished or even areas that haven't been built yet, but the leaks do show that Blackout-like appearance, or something that he'd have seen Katniss Everdeen operates on in Hunger Games 2 - with hope, there will be a cornucopia filled with action here too, and even a crossbow of sorts.
The leaks have also been DMCA'd from Activision, which adds to its legitimacy, although Treyarch could yet decide to flip the script entirely over the next year.
