Alongside SBMM, aim assist is without a doubt the most hotly debated topic in the Call of Duty community at the moment.

With countless MnK users arguing AA is absurdly OP and controller fans countering that its power is justified, it's hard to know whether this will ever be settled in MW3 and Warzone.

Well, now a demonstration in Warzone Mobile has raised eyebrows about the power of aim assist in the upcoming title scheduled to release on March 21.

In a recent clip, it has been revealed that aim assist is stronger in Warzone Mobile when you use a controller, rather than a touchscreen.

Using a controller on Warzone Mobile enhances your aim assist

Taking to Twitter on March 11, the popular Call of Duty Twitter account ModernWarzone showcased that aim assist is actually stronger in Warzone Mobile if you use a controller.

Originally tested by Bobby Plays, they demonstrate the difference by ADSing towards a foe and moving side to side.

It's immediately obvious that the controller user on Warzone Mobile is sticking to the opponent significantly more, while touchscreen seems to lock on while moving over the opponent but then switch off rather quickly.

This gives controller users a huge advantage, especially in close-quarters gunfights where a single bullet can decide a skirmish. Long-range still needs to be tested, but it's hard to imagine controller will be tuned down at those distances.

Warzone Mobile fans can't believe touchscreen users get less aim assist

This discovery has confused a lot of the Call of Duty community, who argue that touchscreen users deserve more aim assist than those on controller. Some have even gone as far as to label the feature as "pathetic" and can't get their head around why controller players deserve a "competitive advantage."

"Controller players just get free aim bot in every version of cod these days SHEESH," said one user, with another arguing "Even on MOBILE controller players need help."

Some competitors do claim that "controller is harder on mobile," but there are also those who completely disagree with this statement.

As expected, it's caused another divide amongst competitors, this time in the Warzone Mobile fanbase. While it's a different game, the debate remains the same and based on the discussions in the main series, it's not going to get resolved anytime soon.
