If there's one thing that Call of Duty players are good at, it's claiming anything is better than what they have. Think of how many times streamers whose popularity is owed to the popularity of Warzone have turned away from the game, promising they'll never return, only to play again when their viewership tanks.

Players blame the minor frustrations that they have, all mounted on top of each other as bugs, SBMM, weapon skins, and shifting metas collide in chaos. And now, Warzone fanatics are praising a version of the game that they can't even access yet.

Warzone Mobile footage looks brilliant

New Warzone Mobile gameplay videos have hit the internet, showing Call of Duty fans what this new version will look like when it finally launches - and it looks like Call of Duty. First responses suggest it's brilliant in its own right, but unfortunately, it could outshine its console counterparts.

After all, when video games make the jump to mobile, there are a few losses. In the case of Apex Legends, the gameplay took a huge hit, throwing the title into the third person for the first time, and even when considering Fortnite's mobile adaptation, it remained predominantly the same but suffered brutal visual compression.

Warzone Mobile genuinely looks like a general Call of Duty game, with incredibly fast and tight movement and snappy ADS. With only some enlarged HUD elements to prove otherwise, it seems like a real console release. Unsurprisingly, fans have been quick to praise the visuals of the game.

Fans are in love with Warzone Mobile - and they can't even play it yet

Warzone Mobile hopefuls have taken to the replies to express just how impressed they are with how the game looks, claiming that it could pass for a Call of Duty game only a single console generation behind us. One disbeliever said, "This is actually nuts - game looks better than 360/PS4 😂."

Another added, "Gotta say, MW19 on last gen consoles looked great in terms of graphics But damn I gotta give props to this mobile version. Looks gorgeous," while a third cheered, "Warzone Mobile is so good, I might start ignoring my console 🎮."

It's a genuinely brilliant showcase of what Warzone Mobile could provide for players, especially when they can't get their hands on it just yet. Mobile versions of existing games come with connotations of a loss of quality - but maybe we won't lose so much with this one after all.
