It's not just the console and PC ports of Warzone that are preparing for a complete makeover, as Call of Duty: Mobile prepares to launch their version of Warzone in the coming months.

CoD Mobile might have a range of features that outshine that of the console games, such as incredible looking skins and animations, a wide range of iconic guns and maps, and a rewarding progression system, but there's one feature that is often criticised, and now it appears to be copied and pasted over to Warzone Mobile.

"Lucky Draws" are a way of acquiring items in CoD Mobile in the out-dated RNG style of loot boxes - a form of gaming microtransactions that is often dubbed as gambling and is already banned in certain countries. Despite the connotations of gambling, though, Activision look prepared to roll out the feature in Warzone Mobile, according to a new job listing.

Warzone Mobile Job Listing Confirms 'Lucky Draws'

Players will gamble their CoD Points on Lucky Draws to earn rewards, with a range of different rarities on offer that can be won through RNG. While low rarities are most common, leaving players to be out of pocket for the value of their Lucky Draw spin, some more fortuitous players can get premium rewards that return the price of a spin ten-fold.

Even though the system has proved controversial in the past, a new job listing for Warzone Mobile indicates that Lucky Draws will also be added to the battle royale game.

A position for a Content Designer has appeared on the Activision database, which details responsibilities surrounding the creation of Lucky Draws and other features.

"You will bring the unique narrative, characters, and weapons to life through the design of seasonal themes, assets for battle pass, battle crates, lucky draws, holiday content, and other events," the posting reads.

"As a Content Designer on Call of Duty: Warzone for Mobile you will be responsible for helping to create and implement a vision for Call of Duty: Warzone for Mobile live operations content," it continues.

The feature, that serves as a pun of the superstitious underwear phenomenon, has remained in CoD Mobile while the console games flushed it out and plugged in other features like battle passes that allows players to earn rewards.

Whether this also translates to Warzone 2 is yet to be seen, although the system has long been abolished in Call of Duty's annual releases, with the last of its kind being seen in Advanced Warfare.
