Oh dear, it looks another Call of Duty: Warzone player could be in trouble as they're accused of cheating during a tournament. This time, Warzone pro Tom "Tommey" Trewen thinks he caught one crafty cheater in the act. There's a growing number of cheaters in Activision's battle royale title, however, being seemingly exposed during a live stream is taking it to a whole new level.

Things got pretty tense pretty quickly when Tommey and teammate "Almxnd" came across the suspected cheater in the quarter-finals. The European pro didn't hold back when he accused "Mingostyle" of cheating. The 2v2 Warzone CMG tournament took place on September 5 and was hosted by KaleiRenay. As the players waited for the game to boot up, Tommey and Almxnd were already suspicious of Mingostyle's 5.2 kill/death ratio. Tommey called his gameplay into question and asked the opponent to share his screen as they went into battle.

Things went from bad to worse when Mingostyle's screen seemed to show the gray tab of a popular cheat site. Viewers quickly alerted Tommey to what was going on, leaving the player to brand his opponent a "silly b*****d". Mingostyle quipped back and said, "I'm messing around, get a grip. I literally just got a picture".

Tommey wasn't buying it though. He added, "He's not the smartest bloke, I told you cheaters are stupid as s**t. He said that image is that, he hasn't even got the same dimensions, he's panicked and gone quick". Checkmate Gaming gave an update on the situation and confirmed Mingostyle has been handed a permanent suspension from the site. Instead, the previous opponents took his place, while Tommey and Almxnd went on to trounce the competition and win the entire tournament.

The latest bout of cheating claims comes after Activision itself went after cheat code sites. The publisher took on CxCheats.net - which also sells cheats for games like Fortnite. CxCheats.net issued an apology to anyone that had been harmed by its actions, and at the time of writing, the site is currently MIA.

As for Mingostyle, their Twitch account is currently offline, which suggests they were reprimanded for being a cheater. That being said, Twitch refuses to reveal why someone is banned, and it's also entirely possible they simply deleted their channel. Either way, the general rule of thumb is that cheaters never prosper.
