God, how times have changed. Back in the day, one-shot snipers were the bees-knees, and there was mass uproar when they were nerfed post-Verdansk.

One-shot snipers are back and more brutal than ever before, with the KATT-AMR being one of the best guns in the game.

But, players are now moaning and calling for them to be nerfed, or at least much harder to use.

Warzone sniping is back, but not everyone is pleased

According to WZRanked (a website monitoring weapon usage and loadouts), the KATT-AMR is the third-most-popular gun in the game behind the WSP Swarm and the BAS-B, showcasing that snipers are literally everywhere in Urzikstan.

But professional Warzone player and 100Thieves streamer Rhys "Rated" Price wants them gone.

Taking to Twitter, the multi-Warzone event winner has claimed he will "pay any amount of money for one-shot snipers to be taken out of the game," as the one-shot meta is tailored to campers.

"Got 55 year old's sniping me with one bullet killing me from 500m away with no glint snipers in one bullet that are far too easy to use," he added.

Should Warzone remove one-shot snipers again?

Rated's tweet has now divided the community, as some feel that snipers are too overpowered, while others claim they are perfect exactly how they are.

His main problem, highlighted in another tweet, is the range at which snipers are effective, unlike the old Kar-98K meta from Verdansk, as he claims they should not be as effective at 500m.

Others suggested having some form of disparity between public matches and Ranked when that arrives, possibly upping the health by 50HP to combat one-shot campers there and allowing for those Sentinel military vets to have fun in casual lobbies.

In the meantime though, the only nerfs that are coming into play are those to the Lockwood shotgun and the Snakeshot pistols
