In the midst of the outside drama surrounding Call of Duty at the moment, there still remains a game that attracts tens of thousands of concurrent players at all times.
Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff's recent controversy and anti-LGBTQ+ comments have completely divided the Call of Duty community, as boycotts and rallies have taken the shine off an upcoming Season 4 update.
But aside from the drama, and before the update, Warzone still houses many devoted players, and even they are being briefed as another rampant bug is breaking self-revives and the battle royale game.
Warzone bug is breaking self-revives
How did I get eliminated instantly despite having self-revive and living teammates

Self-revives are hugely important in Warzone, with the ability to survive a fatal blow by getting yourself back on your feet and back in the action.
However, it actually seems like they don't work at all, as players are now being completely eliminated from games after being downed - without being finished off - even though they have self-revives left over and teammates alive.
As per a video on Reddit from "MoMoJazy," players are being summoned to the Gulag after being downed, as self-revives and teammates are being ignored, rendering the second-chance death-preventing perk mout.
Warzone fans annoyed at lack of fixes for game-breaking glitches
According to numerous players on Reddit, the bug is a result of being downed in the pre-match lobby, where if you don't return to the action before the time finishes and the actual game starts, you will no longer be able to use self-revive or be picked up by teammates, instead you'll simply just be dead when you're downed.
"That's some complete bulls**t if I ever seen it. You literally didn't even get knocked??" said one fan. Many others also revealed that the bug has been happening to them too, with the first "knock" being an instant death, mostly ruining games and momentum.
"It's a bug that they still haven't fixed since the first day. It happens to me sometimes. Annoying af," added another fan. With Season 4 on the horizon, it might be the developers' opportunity to mask over the outside issues with some good gameplay, although they'll have to make sure glitches like this are fixed.
