Call Warzone what you like. Broken, bugged, a hacker's paradise - all suggestions that are completely fair for the mostly compromised battle royale title. But one word hasn't yet been attributed to it - contagious.

The game is rife with its own problems that not only surpass its supposedly airtight anti-cheat fix, but seem to have gotten worse since its launch. RICOCHET hasn't been the success that Call of Duty had hoped it'd be, and the franchise's games are still a little worse for wear.

But, it seems like they've got some big problems to address, as one of the glitches that began in Warzone has made its way to Vanguard.

Is The Demon Gun Glitch In Vanguard?

The nightmarish 'demon gun' glitch that once made vision in Warzone incredibly frustrating has, seemingly, arrived in Vanguard. Looks like it's catching.

The glitch sees the textures of the weapon held by the player twist and contort, taking up the screen like something from Control's FBC. It's a polygonal smattering that gets vastly in the way of your vision, which isn't exactly ideal for a competitive FPS.

It seems the glitch has made its way to Vanguard, but the video that proves it in the CODVanguard subreddit seems to indicate that the glitch is attacking everything but the player's weapon.

User Fatal_Overflow shows their game of Capture the Flag thrown under the bus by the texture glitch that dominates their screen, making playing the game incredibly difficult. But, thankfully, there's a fix - though a pretty laborious one.

Reddit User Finds Fix For Demon Gun Glitch

The original poster has discovered a way to fix the bug when it does eventually crop up, though it's annoying that players have to go out of their way to fix a bug that isn't their fault.

Fatal_Overflow reports a series of fixes to run through if the glitch shows up - reinstall your texture caches, reinstall your drivers, and if all else fails, reinstall the whole game. It's a frustrating list of things to do, but supposedly, it should take care of the problem.

Though the glitch seems to be exclusive to PC for now, there's no telling if it could come to console too. After all, if Vanguard caught this from Warzone, who's to say it can't make the jump?
