We always knew there was something dodgy about that Willy Wonka guy. Not only does he spend years locked in a chocolate wonderland and still have a fantastic physique, but he opens the doors to his wonderous factory to a handful of ungrateful kids while little Oompa Loompas run the place in his stead.

We smell something fishy, and it isn't his newest recipe. It looks like these suspicions are quite on-tune, as it has now been revealed that the new Willy Wonka actor, Timothée Chalamet, used to use modded controllers to cheat in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Before the days of downloadable wall hacks and aimbots in Call of Duty, console players would get one step ahead over the enemy by using modded controllers. Apparently, Timothée Chalamet was no different.

Speaking on the red carpet at a Wonka premiere, Chalamet told IGN that he used to be quite the demon on Black Ops 2 back in the day, using mods and the FAL to slay through lobbies.

Talking about his favourite controller, Chalamet said, "I might be a little outdated now, but back in the day it was something with a trigger mod." He continued, "Not to be a cheater, like, but if it was something like an FAL, you could unlock it with a mod."

Could we see a Wonka x Call of Duty crossover?

Given Wonka's new-found connection with Call of Duty, this could open the doors to yet another crossover, typical of this new Activision.

Maybe, with Wonka's similarities to Shadowman and the leaked return of Gobblegum machines to Zombies in Treyarch's 2024 Black Ops title, the mysterious chocolate fanatic could make for a nice suitor for an Operator skin.

Although Chalamet's Wonka portrayal is now out and thriving in cinemas, it's also worth noting that the actor is already coming to Call of Duty in a different crossover, as his depiction of Paul Atreides in Dune is arriving in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
