Former Overwatch professional turned streamer extraordinaire Felix "xQc" Lengyel is a man of many gaming talents. Whether it be his native FPS genre, party games like Among Us, or tactical survival games like Rust, the Twitch mogul has a huge repertoire of games under his belt.
So having played so many titles, who better is there to rank which ones are the hardest to master? We thought Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek too, but alas, xQc has cast his vote on which games have the highest "skill cap" and Call of Duty is shockingly low.
xQc ranks games with the highest 'skill cap'
Skill cap, also known as the "ceiling," is a measurement of how high players can push the skill parameters in their respective games, whether that be through individual innovation or team-based mechanics. Now, xQc took a crack at listing which games are there hardest to master with how high their cap is.
Instantly, xQc slapped Dota 2, Starcraft 1 and 2 in S Tier (the highest rank), which was soon joined by Rocket League, Among Us, Quake, World of Tanks, and iRacing.
However, what was most surprising was how low he valued every single shooter game in existence, including his beloved Overwatch, CS:GO, and Call of Duty.
xQc ranks Call of Duty in 'D Tier' for games with the highest skill cap
The gaming legend ranked Call of Duty in "D Tier," the second-last category, behind the likes of Overwatch, Rainbow Six, Apex Legends, Halo, and PUBG.
In fact, Call of Duty was the lowest arcade shooter game in the list, besides Doom, and only sports games like FIFA and card/board games such as Magic the Gathering and Chess sat in the F Tier below CoD.
No shooters made it into the S Tier, with CS:GO being the highest in A, as xQc pointed out that these types of games are based on knowledge, rather than actual skill.
The streamer did get roasted in his chat for the rankings, specifically with the position of Among Us, although very few people argued that CoD should have been higher...
